It feels like a longer slow stroll to Spring this year but maybe we are just resuming the wet springs we used to have. I took a walkabout this afternoon to see what was blooming in my garden.
I think this is a “Honey Butter’ Rhododendron. It just opened up yesterday.
Erythronium “Pagoda” has been blooming about a week. I planted these from bulbs a few years ago and now they are colonizing in patches throughout the garden.
Fritillaria meleagris, new this year for me. I’ll be planting more bulbs in the fall.
Hyacinth…previous owner had these everywhere. I’ve been gradually replacing them with Camassia. Still, they are pretty in their own way.
I love the miniature daffy-down-dillys. This is Narcissus “Tete a Tete”
